Project Manager - Banking

Responsible for the design and implementation of two data marts. Providing leadership for data analysis activities on legacy data, the creation of a logical data model and the logical database design. Responsible for data acquisition, data cleansing and data transformation. Responsibilities also include creation and maintenance of meta data.

Performed the data analysis, created a high-level data model as well as a logical database design, and designed shipping forms for the Auto Parts Sets Export system.

Aerospace (9/95 - 4/97)

Responsible for the evaluation, maintenance and production support of the Assets Backed Securities system (VSAM/COBOL). Designed and implemented a front end application for the selection, evaluation and processing of portfolios (MS/ACCESS). Major responsibilities included requirements definition, data analysis and data modeling, designing the system, the database, screens and reports, data mapping, and creating DW tables for ABS (DB2).

Nation-wide Savings & Loan Association (5/94 - 4/95)
Consultant - Banking

Responsible for the conversion of a Secondary Marketing application from IBM mainframe to Client/Server using DB2, Windows, SQL, and ACCESS. Responsible for the evaluation and documentation of the old system functions and the definition of new requirements. Performed extensive data analysis and produced a fully-attributed data model. Designed the system, database, screens and reports.

Responsible for defining user requirements for a Payroll system and an Accounts Payable system in the film industry.

Health Insurance (10/90 - 6/92)
Sr. System Analyst

Responsible for defining user requirements for membership and claims processing; in depth evaluation of SOTRISS and GENELCO claims processing system for the AS400. The evaluation included analysis of the overall system design, quality tests of procedures, programs and data utilization, in order to determine the extent of the modifications needed, and to determine the number and complexity of new programs required for system acceptance. Developed the program specifications for modifications and new development. Created a prototype using SYNON.

Responsible for the maintenance and production support of the Financial Management System, G/L, A/P and Collections, using IBM 3090, OS/MVS, CICS/VSAM. Responsibilities included:
